The Slang Network – Exclusive Interview
Ok, what is The Slang Network?
The Slang Network, is an artist collective, a creative network, a group of friends who love to work together.
And who are you?
We won’t get into names now since we are many and plan to become even more. Who we really are is some of the most passionate artists, graphic designers, illustrators, photographers, videographers, marketeers, human beings.
So, is it some kind of a business?
It is a crew of grown-up professional artists, so yes, it’s a business. It’s a business that not only supports us financially but allows us to develop our art while working together.
You started by offering an awesome coloring book for free during the Covid-19 quarantine. Is this a first demo of your work? Are there more to come?
We have been working together on and off, preparing The Slang Network, for over a year now, so there is plenty of work already done. The Coloring Book was one of the first things we did after we rolled out our social media accounts. It was one of those unplanned things we “couldn’t not do” and absolutely loved doing! There are many more things to come of course, but those unplanned projects always put a huge smile on our faces!
Do you have any words of wisdom that you’d like to share with up-and-coming artists?
Be kind to each other.
Never stop.
Charge your work!
What’s ahead?
After the quarantine ends we plan to get together and have some beers while drawing and hugging. After that, its TOTAL WORLD DOMINATION.
