Nikos Arvanitis

“Twelve Hours”

KROMA/Nikos Arvanitis

From the 5th of April, you re invited to witness the analysis of an argument set in the grounds of the institution that transcends greek modern life. On this basis, artist Nikos Arvanitis, attemps to break down or perhaps even take apart, a political speech that aims to convince/defend the speaker’s point of view. By no means do not expect another banal standpoint on the aspects of the greek modern crisis.

Sound and occupying space are the artist’s main armoire in this installation that aims to provide the attendees with the modus operandi of a current political figure, standing their ground or trying to take their competitors down. Words, articulation, logical sequence and the feelings provoked are the protagonists of the artist’s most recent artwork, held in downtown Athens.
